JULY 2011 "ANGELS ALL AROUND YOU" MILITARY MINISTRY"
HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU TO GUARD YOU IN ALL YOUR WAYS." PSALM 91:11. Prayer/support group for military personnel and their families/friends living in and around Boerne, Texas. The foundation of this ministry will be prayer for our warriors and their families. This ministry wants to provide a safe and comfortable meeting environment for our warriors and their families to come together to share specific prayer requests, pride, joy, fears and tears. MEETINGS ARE THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH IN FLB 206/208 at 6:30pm – 8:00pm. We wish to SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE US by meeting practical needs with care packages, cards and letters of encouragement, assistance with home repair or maintenance needs during deployments, recognition and appreciation of their sacrifice, and identify any other physical needs. The Military Ministry wants to share the love of Christ via ministries in our church. Please contact us with the names and contact information of warriors from the Boerne, Texas area that are currently serving. JULY 6th PRAYER MEETING ~ In addition to praying for our Hometown Heroes, Rick Zapf (a licensed family counselor in Boerne with Interactive Counseling & Consulting Services Inc.) will share tips on HEALTHY WAYS TO COPE WITH DEPLOYMENT AND THE MILITARY LIFESTYLE. You don't want to miss this! As always, feel free to bring your sack supper and a battle buddy :)
